🏢 If you are signed up as a Service Company…

When you navigate to your profile, you will see a "Company" section with your company name listed on the lower right side, and your "Role" will say "admin" - like this:

👤 If you are signed up as an independent provider…

When you navigate to your profile, there will not be a company name listed anywhere and your "Role" will show as "provider" - like this:

📋 Criteria to operate as a Service Company on Field Nation…

💻 Have a Service Company account

🔐 At least one Admin user, preferably the business owner, who acts as the primary account manager and point of contact for your company.

✅ A valid Employer Identification Number (EIN) on file as your tax ID.

🪪 Admin passed online Identity Verification during onboarding.

👥 At least 2 managed provider profiles added to your service company for individuals who are capable of completing work on Field Nation.

💸 An off-platform way to pay your Managed Providers directly for their work and handle all of the tax and insurance responsibilities for your business.

Note: If you have an independent provider account, not a Service Company account, then simply switch over to the New Provider Guide ↩️

If you created a Service Company account, but you have no employees and it's just you completing work (with an occasional helper you get permission to bring to site with you), then an independent provider account may be a better fit. Create a case for Field Nation Support if you wish to convert your account.
