If you’ve spent time here, you’ve likely noticed Scott sharing his feedback, knowledge and offering great advice. We recently caught up with Scott for a quick Q&A to learn a bit more about his background, his experiences, and his path to success.
Q: How long have you been working in the IT field service industry?
A: I have worked in it for over 30 years, beginning when I was in college as a student worker. I've also worked for several MSP companies.
Q: What types of work do you do on Field Nation, and what kinds of projects do you enjoy the most?
A: I only work on field Nation part-time. Because of this, some of the jobs are limited. I take smaller jobs, like tv repair and caption phones - seeing the look when they can 'hear' makes me feel good.
Q: What's one piece of advice you'd give to other providers on how to be successful?
A: Don't bite off more than you can chew. Knowing your limitations will get you a better rating in the end. Also keep and make good notes. Remember that this is how you get paid!
