There are a few simple tips new providers can try that may help get established more quickly:
👤 Build a strong provider profile for yourself - add a friendly intro to the 'About' section, then be sure to fill in any/all relevant 'Types of Work', 'Skillsets' and Licenses so buyers can find you!
🗳️ Once your profile is done, start submitting requests and/or counter-offers for relevant & available work orders that match your skills and experience!
🚨 FYI: it's important to know that submitting a work order request or counter-offer is more than just a show of interest - it's sending your pre-emptive agreement that you will be able and available to complete the buyers scope of work, for the payment amount shown, and at the day/time scheduled.
👋 Introduce yourself in the work order messages of each work order when you submit a request. Let buyers know that although you may be new to Field Nation, you're not new to the industry and have the skills to get the job done right!
🎯 If a buyer accepts your request or counter-offer, you automatically become assigned. If you back out after assignment, your Cancellation Rate gets worse (which a core metric buyers use to find reliable providers).
🔎 Providers who carefully read the buyers service description and requirements before submitting a work order request tend to have a higher chance of success after getting assigned, and in turn, are more likely to receive positive buyer feedback.
✅ Click 'Confirm' within all of your assigned work orders after the start of the Confirmation Window (6am to 12pm the day prior to the scheduled start time) to avoid being removed from the assignment.
📱Once you're on site, use the Field Nation app to check in on site, on time! If you check in Late or Too Early, your Timeliness Rate will be negatively impacted; another core metric buyers use to find timely providers.
🏎️ Keep going! It can take time and consistent requests for new providers to get established in the marketplace. Once you start successfully completing work, it will become easier and easier to get more!
