I request new wo's within minutes of being posted, and they still get assigned to someone else.
I finally got a wo assigned to me yesterday, a $30 job, and it was already completed when I arrived, so it was discounted to $20 :(
I purchased a drug test, but haven't taken it yet, and I think I would like to cancel and get a refund, because I have zero confidence that this platform is going to work for me, since I'm unable to get any kind of wo assigned to me. I've been requesting every day for almost a month now :(
I worked as an assistant under a friend of mine who worked a wo, 72 hours so far, doing POS **** computer and pinpad update/replacement/configuration at Macy's stores, so that work is not reflected in my Field Nation statistics. So each wo I request, I explain that in a message to the provider, so that I can hopefully convince someone that I am more than capable.
My resume is 25 years Senior Software Developer. I do not have any field technician work experience on my resume yet. I would hope my software developer experience would at least sway some providers in giving me a chance at swapping a security camera or network cable, but no luck so far.
Any other tips or tricks on how to get started and trusted? I'm about to give up. Thanks.
