Q: How long have you been working in the IT field service industry?
A: I’ve been working in the IT field service industry for about six years.
Q: What types of work do you do on Field Nation, and what kinds of projects do you enjoy the most?
A: On Field Nation, I undertake a wide range of IT service projects, including network and server installations, low-voltage and fiber cabling, telecom, retail technology support, kiosks/ATMs, as well as A/V and digital signage setups. I enjoy projects that challenge me to combine technical skills with problem-solving — such as streamlining complex network builds, troubleshooting under pressure, or rolling out new technologies that improve the client’s day-to-day operations. The projects I enjoy the most are the ones where I can leave things running better than I found them and see the immediate impact of my work.
Q: What's one piece of advice you'd give to other providers on how to be successful?
A: One piece of advice I’d give to other providers is to treat every assignment like it’s your business card. Show up on time and prepared, communicate clearly with the client, and deliver quality work every time. Building a reputation for reliability and professionalism not only earns repeat opportunities but also sets you apart in a competitive market. Consistency is the foundation of long-term success.
